This short micro-learning course introduces one simple but powerful idea:

Many adult behaviours began as childhood adaptations.

In this context, adaptation simply means a coping pattern the nervous system learned early on to feel safe, accepted, or in control.

In just 12–15 minutes, you’ll explore how early stress can shape the nervous system and influence patterns such as independence, hyper-responsibility, difficulty relaxing, or staying alert to others’ moods.

Through a short guided reflection exercise, you’ll begin to notice how these patterns may have developed — not because something is “wrong,” but because your system learned what it needed at the time.
